Feature Friday: MoYou Nails Stamping Nail Art

*** This post contains items which were sent for review.***
Hey y'all!

Today I want to show you some nail art I did with polish, stamping plates, and stamper from MoYou Nails.  I received the basic equivalent of the MoYou Kitty Set, with the exception being that I received Lilac polish rather than the standard Black which comes in the kit.

So to start off, I made a First Impressions video on my YouTube channel where I tested everything I received.

Once I had finished playing with ALL THE THINGS, I buckled down and created some nail art using plate 107 and the lilac polish as well as a white polish from my collection.

I began by applying bases of white and the lilac on alternating nails.  I am highly impressed with the MoYou stamping polish, because it applied easily to the nail as a one-coat wonder, with none of the goopiness I have come to associate with stamping polishes.  As you can see, I've done a two-color sponge gradient, alternating directions from one nail to the next.  I followed this by stamping the corner floral image from the plate twice on each nail, in the reverse color to the base.  It's the same stamp image, just turned upside down.

While I liked the look with a glossy finish, I am a believer that soft pastels always look better matted, so I grabbed my Sally Hansen Big Matte and covered all the nails.

As I said in the video, I'm very satisfied with the quality of the plates and stamper, and the polish was a surprising win for me, because I was not expecting such a good opacity from a polish that paints on the nail with such ease.

    1. Aw thank you! I watched that show in the States, but I've had a hard time finding it over here since I moved. Shame.

  3. I am SO loving your design! Great job with the gradient, and the stamping - Wow! Love it all, the colors and stamping pattern. I have yet to get into stamping but I want to now. I especially like the way you made the mani matte. So elegant and soft.

    1. Thank you so much! Stamping is definitely something you have to practice at, but it's so much fun once you start getting results!
