Peacock fantasy nail art

*** This post contains items which were sent for review and affiliate links. ***

Hey y'all!

Happy Friday!  Today I've got a quickie post for you, to show off some nail art created with a stamping plate from bornprettystore I received for review.

Nail art using Born Pretty 04 Dancing Peacock plate.

The Dancing Peacock plate is one of the newly branded Born Pretty plates, which have been under some scrutiny because the second stocking of plates have been changed (images slightly larger and rearranged on the plate, some images swapped out).  This plate is from the original stock, and the plate currently listed for sale looks a little bit different.  The fan on the upper left has been replaced by a flame image, and there is some scroll work underneath the large center image.

I swatched all of the images on this plate in a video on my YouTube channel which you can view below.  All in all, they all stamped really easily and seem to be well-etched.  I used a regular nail polish rather than my stamping polishes, so the small flaws in those swatches mostly result from that.

(If you cannot view this video from your device, you can view it on my channel here: Born Pretty 04 Plate Dancing Peacocks.)

The manicure I created from this plate has chrome polishes stamped over a satin matte black, OPI 4 In The Morning.  The image over my middle three nails is stamped in Essie Nothing Else Metals, and my pinky and thumb use a gradient of Nothing Else Metals and Icing Martini, Extra Olives.

Have you had a chance to try any of the new Born Pretty plates?  I am reading some mixed reviews about them, but aside from the plate redesign, I have to say that I am really pleased with the plate I received and am curious to try some others from this line.

You'll find this plate and others in this line in the nail art supplies selection of the site.  Remember that when you make a purchase, you can use discount code FXX31 for 10% off regularly marked items in your cart!

Have a happy and safe weekend, and I will see you tomorrow!

Great design! The peacock spread across multiple nails looks amazing! I have tried the plates in the original version too. They stamped great, but the designs were way too small for my nails. I read that you can request free replacement plates with your next order on Geordie Nails, so I just did so. We'll see how that goes! :)

I have 3 of the old styled plates, too, and the newer ones are on their way to me yet. I had issues with the pattern sizes, which have been solved with the redesign, but I had no issue with the quality! The designs all picked up and transferred perfectly!
I really like your mani btw!
