Hey, Swatch It! Octopus Party Nail Lacquer Ink or Swim

Hey y'all!

Happy Saturday, once again!  Can you seriously believe we're already halfway through November, and Christmas is less than 6 weeks away?  I just don't even want to think about it!  Now that I've put that cheery thought in your head, how about I show you a gorgeous indie polish?  Octopus Party Nail Lacquer came on my radar earlier this year, and it appears that I was not alone.  Dave has a knack for mixing absolutely gorgeous colors and glitters, and I have truly felt lucky to own the ones I have, including this shiny pretty, Ink or Swim.

This gorgeous blackened teal jelly is absolutely unique in my collection, which is why I had to have it.  Since I don't really own a lot of jellies, I sometimes find them very tricky to apply because of streaking and general lack of even application.  That said, Ink or Swim went on very smoothly, and I really didn't have a lot of streaking.  There's a bare-ish patch on my pinky finger that is totally my fault from application, but even still it wasn't really noticeable to the naked eye.

These swatches show Ink or Swim at 3 coats, with no top coat because of the lovely natural shine of the polish.

I cannot wait to start doing some jelly and stamping sandwiches with this polish!  I have some Christmas ideas already brewing!

What's your favorite jelly?  Let me know down in the comments!

Have a funtastic weekend, and I will see you soon!

Ooh, ooh, ooh!!! I loooove jellies, especially with good formulas, and this one is stunning!! I will definitely have to check out this brand. I've gotten some great jellies by Elevation Polish and Liquidus (Etsy).
