Teal and Champagne Textured Stamping feat. Beauty UK Grit FX

Hey y'all!
Happy days for me, as I recently won a prize in PiggieLuv's Birthday Bash giveaway, consisting of four bottles of Beauty UK Grit FX polishes, courtesy of Sassy Little Nails.  Having tested a couple of other Beauty UK polishes and being a fan of the texture, I was super excited to try these out!  I wore the polishes plain for probably 2 days before I finally decided to do some stamping and take pics, so please forgive the grow-out around my cuticles.

As I said, I wore the plain polishes for a couple of days before doing the stamping, which consisted of two coats of Beauty UK Printworks on my middle and ring fingers, and three coats of Kensington on my thumb, index, and pink.  I found that whereas Printworks has better opacity, Kensington definitely has a prettier textured effect.

When it came time to take these off, I decided I wanted to at least snap a few pics for the blog, so I pulled out my MoYou Nails stamping polish in light blue, and Cici & Sisi plate 07 to add the stamped image over top.  I'm not sure what it's supposed to be, but it was pretty so...

I am genuinely pleased with these new polishes.  There are two others that I will have to show you soon, because they're just as lovely.  As a bonus, removal on these polishes was actually really simple using my normal method - very minimal scrubbing was required.  I did use two coats of base coat before applying, however, as an extra later of protection against potential staining.  I'm happy to report that I experienced no staining using this method, but cannot guarantee that the teal wouldn't stain without base coat.

I am still a huge fan of textured polishes, even if the trend is fading.  These polishes definitely have a special place in my stash.  Thank you so much to Narmai and Dawn for the giveaway!

Are you still a fan of textured polishes?  Let me know down below.

Hope you're all off to a great start of the week, and I'll see ya soon!

I was never a huge fan of textured, and I'm finally appreciating it more now! I really like Kensington - that champagne-like color is gorgeous on you!!

I do still love texture. And it's great that these held up a couple days before you even got to stampin'. I like this, it's a pretty mani!

I LOVE textures. I have never tried stamping over them but your mani looks great so I'm going to have to give it a go!

This is so fun! I'm not a huge fan of textures but for some reason I LOVE the look of stamping over them!

I like textured polishes of the kind with chunky glitters mixed in. These ones a little less. But I do love the stamping and how well the colours go together!

These look lovely! You know, I tried wearing a textured polish the other day and I couldn't stand it. Your stamping over it looks great though so maybe I should try wearing on that way haha!

I love the blue over the blue! This technique is pretty cool, would've never thought you could do that!

I still like textured polish, though I prefer sparkly ones I think those two look really nice. Or maybe the stamping makes them look even better haha. Love them!
Still a big fan of textured polishes even though I don't own very many. This is a new brand of polish to me and a new stamping plate so thanks for the introduction!

I'm not really a huge fan of texture but that won't stop me from buying it if I like the color! I normally top coat a textured polish anyway because the feel of it drives me batty! Loving the color combo here!
