Five Easy Ways to Extend a Manicure!

Hey y'all!

If you haven't already subscribed to my YouTube channel, what are you waiting for?  Today I posted a video showing 5 different techniques for covering chipped polish, for those nights when you have to be somewhere but don't have time to do a new manicure or go to the salon.

A little bit of opaque nail polish and/or some glitter polish and a few household items can get you out of a nail disaster in a pinch!

Do you have any other hot tips for emergency manicure repairs?  Share them with me in the comments!

Hope you're all having a great week and I'll see you tomorrow!

Awesome job! Your nails are getting so long! How do you keep them so strong?

I wish I could tell you I had a magic secret, but I really don't. I went from having the softest, thinnest, peeling-est nails when I took off my last set of acrylics back in Jan 2013, and I basically just let them heal for about 6 months naturally, kept the nubs. Then at some point last summer I started using Seche Rebuild - I did one week using it "as directed" and then I used it as a base coat every time I did my nails, and they got pretty danged strong and stopped peeling altogether. I went through 2 bottles of the Seche, and then I switched over to Duri as my base coat. I use them almost interchangeably now. One or the other is on my nails at any given time and they're fairly sturdy as long as I don't abuse them too much. I have noticed that I can't keep the length shown in the video when they're square - my life just doesn't allow it, but shortly after filming this video is when I went back to the almond shape and I haven't had any problems with the length since then.

Now I'm just struggling with staining!
