Mani Monday: Silver Nail Charm stickers from BPS

*** This post contains items which were sent for review and affiliate links. ***

Hey y'all!

Along with my water decals from yesterday's post, Born Pretty Store sent along a sheet of nail stickers to review as well.  I used these in conjunction with some water decals I had lurking in my stash and a bit of colorful playing to create this look.

These nail stickers come in a sheet of about 35-40 stickers per pack.  I chose pattern TY001, which contains a variety of bows, frames, crowns, hearts, and diamonds.  I found them in the new arrivals section of the BPS site.

The stickers are easy to use - just peel and stick!  I found them to have a good adhesion and didn't have to worry about any lifting or shifting.

I also used some microbeads and these two portrait water decals which I trimmed to size so they would fit nicely under the frame stickers.

L-R: Barry M Damson and Guava, M&S Downton Abbey pearlescent pink, Sally Hansen Grape Race

I started with a 3-coat base of this Marks & Spencer Downton Abbey collection pink polish on all nails.  On my thumb, index, and pinky, I created a watercolor effect by applying Damson, Guava, and Grape Race from a dabbing plate. with a cotton swab dipped in polish remover to thin the polish first.

On my middle and ring fingernails, I applied the trimmed water decals to the centers of my nails, let the water dry, and then laid the BPS stickers over the top to make them look like framed art.  I then applied a variety of the other stickers to my "watercolor" nails and because I couldn't leave well enough alone, added the colorful microbeads to finish them off.

I like the variety of shapes contained in this sheet, and it would be very easy to create a manicure centered around just one style of stickers, rather than the assortment I created while I was playing around.  I think any of these nails could make a very cute accent nail for a simpler mani, or you could easily play around and create your own super shiny nail art look!

If you like these, be sure to check out the rest of the nail art supplies selection.  Remember that when you make a purchase, you can use discount code FXX31 for 10% off regularly marked items in your cart!  Once this code has been used 10 times, Born Pretty Store will sponsor a giveaway on my blog!

I hope your week is off to a good start, and I'll see ya tomorrow!

    1. I'm a picker too, for sure. However, how long do either of us really actually leave something on our nails? lol.
