Happy Saturday! With October just around the corner, a girl's heart may turn towards Halloween and all the kooky pleasures it brings - okay, *my* heart definitely does. Last week I was cruising through some clearance polishes on Rainbow Connection UK, a stockist who carries lots of foreign indies, when this gorgeous polish jumped into my cart.
This is my first-ever Liquid Sky Lacquer, and I just immediately fell in love! It consists of a thin black jelly, with loads of multi-shaped silver and yellow glitters, and a dusting of holo microglitters. These pics show two coats over a black creme base, topped with SV.
Admittedly I think I bought it as much for the name as for the polish itself, but it definitely FEELS wolfy to me, so she really did name it appropriately. Also, it makes me think of Oz, and then I get the sadz for a minute. Awww.
I love how much depth all the different sized glitters gives it, and of course once topcoated, we're on our way to Squish City!
I couldn't help but wonder what it would look like matted, so of course I had to throw on a coat of Sally Hansen big matte.
Honestly... I mean, I like it matted, but I think I liked it squishy better. Am I crazy? Am I a LUNAtic? Har har.
