Hey, Swatch It! OPI Get Your Number

Hey y'all!

Happy Saturday!  Today I've got a beautiful OPI textured polish for you that behaves quite unlike any of the other Liquid Sands in my collection.  Get Your Number is a deep blue jelly filled with all sorts of little glitter goodies to fill out the texture. 

Most of the Liquid Sand formulas I've encountered were nearly opaque in one coat, but the second coat just makes it look finished.  This swatch of Get Your Number needed 4 coats, and I still feel like I can see VNL on my free edges.  That makes it a very chunky polish when built to opacity.  Frankly, I did not enjoy that bit.  For best results, you'd probably want to use undies if you want to ensure full coverage.

That aside, I LOVE this color and I really dig the glitter mix inside!  I know it's hard to see it so I grabbed a macro for you.  Feel free to click on the photo to zoom in. 

Overall, I think Get Your Number is certainly pretty, but I'm still on the fence about a jelly based texture, so I'm sure I'll most likely end up using it for nail art again (I used it in this winter look) as opposed to wearing it alone.  Or at least wearing it without an opaque base color.
