Hey y'all!
Today I'm posting what I hope will be the start of a fun new project, wherein I actually go through some of my Pinterest boards and try out all those fantastic recipes and hacks that I've pinned over the years. To inaugurate what I hope will become a regular series, I've chosen an awesome DIY mud mask, inspired by the Glamglow Supermud masks that became so wildly popular last year. Also, this is a very pic-heavy post, so be warned, because we're about to start...

Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes
Hey y'all!
Today I'm breaking away from the nail end of beauty blogging to introduce a new product and a new brand to you. My friend Tanya introduced me to this new line of cosmetics called Younique - the retail side of things is a bit similar to Avon or Mary Kay, in that you have an independent representative who basically runs his/her own business with this cosmetic line. I went poking around at the products available, and one immediately struck me: the 3D Fiber Lashes. What in the world, right? Let me show you.

Hey y'all!
This week, Gaby has challenged us to talk about high end products versus high street products. For my American readers, "high street" roughly translates to "drug store" in terms of cosmetics and beauty supplies. This prompt really is a challenge for me, because I basically only own one high-end product (but more on that further down in the post). I've always found success working with my drug store brands, and I don't believe in fixing something that works, right? So rather than do a comparison type post, I thought maybe I'd list a few of the brands and lines that I love.
