Hey y'all!
Welcome back to What I Did (with it) Wednesday! We're officially mid-way through April now, and time doesn't seem to be slowing down for ANY reason! On Saturday I showed you my swatch of Red Carpet Manicure's Diamond gel polish, a holographic glitter top coat that I applied over bare nails. Today I'm back to show you the nail art that I've created over it, using two additional new (to me) products, because I couldn't wait to play with them!
To begin, I applied two coats of OPI My Voice Is A Little Norse on my ring and middle fingers, and set three descending-sized purple rhinestones into the top coat.
On my thumb, index, and pinky, I stamped this fun zebra print pattern from my new Apipila Super Plate A, a purchase I made through a group buy in a UK Stamping group on FB. This plate is HUGE and I cannot wait to continue playing with it! I also got to start testing out my new Mundo de Unas stamping polishes, this time in Purple.
I love how the faint holo microglitter peeks through the zebra print, and of course that's emphasized on the two accent nails to full advantage. I'm also really loving the MdU polish so far. I had so much more time to work with it and the cleanup was much easier than my Konad polishes.
In other news, over the weekend I was able to obtain a manicure table to set up downstairs in the conservatory, where I'm hoping to be able to capture the natural light in order to start doing YouTube tutorials. My lighting situation upstairs is completely ill-equipped to shoot video, so I'd been trying to figure out a solution and now I'm hoping I have it! If this works out the way I'd like, Mondays will become my video days, and I'll post the still pics here on the blog. Cross your fingers for me, and if you have any requests, please send them my way!
I hope you're all having a fantastic week, and I will see you Friday!
