Hey y'all!
I have mentioned before that I recently picked up a new nail whitening treatment, which I tested out this week and wanted to show you my results. I procured my ASP Whitening Nail Paste from Salon Services, which is the UK equivalent of Sally's Beauty Supply, for just under £4.
Inside the box is a small tube (17g) of product and a standard sized nail brush.
The instructions are fairly self-explanatory and much like brushing your teeth. You wet the brush, apply a generous amount of the product, and then scrub the entire nail surface and under the free edge, then repeat on the other hand. I followed the instuctions, scrubbing for a full minute on each hands and using warm water, really making the product foam up.
I have to be perfectly honest - I'm not seeing the hugely white results I was expecting. I can see a small amount of brightening and a reduction of the yellowing along the underside of the free edge, but the nail plate is still pretty clearly stained. It also greatly increased the visibility of the repair to my middle finger (there are two breaks on either side of the free edge, which are repaired with Orly Nail Rescue - you can see the product in the center of the nail where the tip begins).
I think it's possible this is a product that needs regular use in order to really achieve the whiteness that is promised on the box. I will continue treatment once a week and see what happens.
Have you used this product or another one like it? I'm curious to hear other reviews.
If you have a product that you're curious about and want to see me test, let me know in the comments!
Have a great weekend, and I'll see ya soon.
