Hey y'all!
Happy Halloween, and happy Friday! October went by so incredibly fast, I almost cannot believe it! October 31 is, traditionally, one of my favorite days of the year because I love dressing up and going out and seeing everyone else dressed up and having a good time. The Halloween season also brings around some of my favorite movies, including the one that inspired me for today's prompt for the Challenge Your Nail Art series, Beetlejuice! As he says, "It's Showtime!"

Spooky French Tips CYNA Halloween Villains
Hey y'all!
Today marks the penultimate prompt for the Challenge Your Nail Art Halloween challenge, and the prompt is actually one that I suggested, so I knew I had to "bring it" with my contribution. I opted to put a bit of a spin on these classic Halloween monsters by creating them as french tips. Can you identify all the spooky species?

Hey y'all!
I'm back with another Halloweeny nail art courtesy of the Challenge Your Nail Art Halloween linkup. Today's prompt is the classic Pumpkin Face, so I've created a bevy of handful of wacky jack-o-lanterns for you!

Halloween Jumper Nail Art CYNA Classic Orange & Black
Hey y'all!
Happy Tuesday to you! You may have picked up a few hints that I've been on vacation the past couple weeks. Hubby and I returned from a trip back "home" to Austin on Sunday, and we're both still recovering from the trip. On the plus side, I have a lot of new goodies to show you coming up, and I can't wait to get started playing with them! Thankfully I've had a few really awesome ladies step forward to give me some guest posts so that I can focus on getting everything sorted while still providing you with some great nail art! This week, though, I have a whole handful of Halloween-themed looks for you as part of the Challenge Your Nail Art group's October offering, so come back every day this week to see 4 great seasonal looks, and the linkup to all the other participating artists. Today's prompt is Classic Orange & Black, which I used to create this fun Halloween sweater/jumper look.

Llama Nails Holiday Challenge week 2: Halloween
Hey y'all,
Quick post to put up my Halloween mani. This week's theme was Halloween, and I struggled a bit before I finally decided on something that I liked but wasn't too cliche.
Last month I picked up a couple of W7 crackle polishes at Poundland or somewhere similar (Americans: think Dollar Store) and hadn't really had a chance to use them yet, but one of them is a lovely cranberry purple and I thought it would make a nice Halloweeny hue.
To start, I put down a base color of elf Cranberry on my pinky, middle, and index fingers, and Maybelline Onyx Black on my ring and thumb. Then I splotched on dabs and smears of Collections Scorched over all the nails, making sure I left some base color exposed. I used Rimmel Black Graffiti over the pinky, middle, and index, and the W7 Crimson Crackle on the ring and thumb.
The effect was sort of wood-grainy, but in a dark and kind of vampy way. I finished off the look by adding eyeballs with Fright Night Glow-in-the-Dark Claw Polish and added pupils with the Black Onyx.
