Hey y'all!
Happy first day of winter (officially)! Seems a bit bizarre, given that I've been wearing a uniform of sweatshirts, long pants, and socks for months now, but I'm still a Texas girl at heart and it's bizarre that my flip-flops were retired for the year in October. Today marks the penultimate prompt for the 12 Days of Christmas nail art challenge! It's also the final assigned prompt, because Tuesday's prompt will be freestyle and open to all the artists' interpretations. I find this prompt particularly appropriate though, because it involves something that I still haven't done and need to do quickly - wrapping presents!
The base for each of my shiny nails is a nail foil, which all came from dollarnailart. I probably could have just done the foils and let it go, but I really thought that would be a cop out, so I added details over the top. On my index, middle, and pinky fingers, I added stamping from the Vivid Lacquer VL019 plate in a contrasting color (though you probably can't see the gold stars on that green pinky nail). On my thumb and pinky, I then added crossing ribbons in OPI Love.Angel.Music.Baby and NYC Ruby Queen.
On my middle finger, I freehanded a little bow with Barry M Forest and a detail brush, and then went back to outline all of my details in China Glaze Liquid Leather, and top-coated.
Unfortunately though I used several different topcoats, all of my foils wrinkled up a bit. I'm still in the testing stage of finding one that works for me without wrinkling my foils. To finish up, I added the wrapped present nail charm on my ring finger.

Hope you've all had a restful weekend, and that today's nail art looks inspire you to finish wrapping gifts for Thursday! I will see you with the final look of this challenge on Tuesday!
