Color choice definitely plays a part, as I've seen some beautifully executed water marbles that get lost because the colors are kind of gross together, so thank you for that compliment for sure. Beyond that, it's really just trial and error! I think it's the colors you choose that really make me love this <3 I love the almost smoke-like swirl you managed on your pointer finger
Manda (Fledgling Nails)https://www.blogger.com/profile/12602582375690307407noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342923129919952137.post-68042991926098551842014-04-11T16:19:08.301+01:002014-04-11T16:19:08.301+01:00Thank you! I dunno - we were on vacation so when I was doing dishes at mom's house I didn't have gloves, and I know we were both really fidgety at night (as you do when you aren't sleeping in your own bed). I expected the big ones to pop off first but strangely it was the smaller ones that did. I wonder if it's because the smaller ones were set into the SV last, and therefore didn't get good enough purchase because the SV was drying? I probably should have given it another coat of SV but TBH I wasn't really that bothered at the time. I had other things on the brain :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03559349153399989266noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1342923129919952137.post-81810906008016242842014-04-11T15:44:01.544+01:002014-04-11T15:44:01.544+01:00Ok one: those pictures look AWESOME, even without ...Ok one: those pictures look AWESOME, even without your normal light box, and two: LOVE LOVE LOVE these!

Sorry the crystals didn't last as long.....this may help in the future, it work's for me every time: get a quick dry top coat and put 2-3 coats (making sure it's dry) over the crystals when it's done to really seal it in. I've literally had nails full of crystals last 1 week+ doing it that way. It works!

What did you use to set them into the nails with?
