It's JUNE! It's like it's almost officially summertime! Happily for me June also meant a changing of the guards in the Tri-Polish Tuesdays Challenge, and our new colors this month are turquoise, coral, and nude. That leaves a LOT of wiggle room because nude can incorporate a pretty big array of shades, and turquoise is a bit ambiguous as well. I decided to have a play with some polishes and ended up with this look, which I think is fairly watercolor-y, then added some dots for interest.
In the fine tradition of TPT, this look was created using 3 polishes.

I then used the same technique to apply Island Coral to my ring finger, which gave the nail sort of a purple marble look.
To finish, I used a large dotting tool to apply dots of full-consistency Guava on my ring finger, and Island Coral to the other nails. Then I reversed the colors and added smaller dots inside the larger ones.
I finished with a coat of SV, and called it a day.
Hope you like this bright and cheery look! If you do, let me know about it in the comments below. In the mean time make sure you check out all the other new Tri-Polish nail art looks below!
Very pretty! You did a good job picking shades that go well together!
ReplyDeleteGlad you approve of this month's colour choices more than last months ;) Love these!
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks Sam. I appreciate that you've chosen both colors that are easy to work with and colors that truly challenge us to think outside the box and push our boundaries. As much as I hated a couple of months going in, I've looked back and seen some of my most creative and inventive designs come out of those months, so that's a testament to you, and I thank you for it. Also, sorry for acting a spoiled child as though you were making me eat brussel sprouts :P)
